You allowed us the flexibility to write our own words, but also the structure and experience to make the changes that would assure smooth sailing during the ceremony. We were lucky to have watched him in action at one of our friends weddings a few years back. We found John to have the right personality for our ceremony.
The day of the wedding, I was sitting outside in the limo and he came up to the window and spoke to me about how beautiful the day was going to be etc. Both my father and I agree that how he spoke to us at that moment was incredible – there is such calmness in his voice and we were able to get those last minute jitters out of our system. During the ceremony John was able to read the crowd and make a few light jokes to help keep the crying down to a minimum.
Duncan and I would like to thank you for being the officiant at our wedding. We really felt we hit it off with you from our first meeting and that you would do justice to the ceremony that we crafted. We were grateful for your insights during our planning process and for the fact that you were with us every step of the way on the day of our marriage.
