Barbara Coté is a lay wedding officiant who resides in Carleton Place. She conducts weddings in West Ottawa, and part of the Valley. Barbara will conduct your civil or spiritual wedding ceremony at a location of your choice. She enjoys her work as a volunteer with the Ottawa Multiple Birth Society. While working at the ottawa court house she helped plan many weddings there. Barbara is a kind and caring person who will help you make your day all you want it to be.

We were married this past summer and had the pleasure of having Anna officiate our wedding ceremony. When we met Anna, she invited us into her home to get to know us and explain everything we needed to know about a wedding ceremony. She made us feel very comfortable and excited about our upcoming day. We appreciated her enthusiasm, poise and professionalism. She gave us many suggestions and was very flexible once we made our decisions. She was very open and receptive to our ideas and helped us incorporate them into our wonderful ceremony. We found the rehearsal to be instrumental in planning and visualizing the final ceremony with our parents and wedding party and would recommend this to all couples. We had a lot of fun and laughs too.

It's such a warm feeling to reflect on our day. I imagine it will be like this for some time.
A very close friend of mine complimented on the wonderful job you did for us. She and her partner got married in the last few years. Much of her compliments were of our wording, how expressive you were and how genuine the whole ceremony was.
Lorie and I wrote our vows to each other. We knew what we were going to say but we did not practice saying them to each other. It was truly something to hear and say our vows. I remember during our meeting with you, you mentioned for us to look at each other and not you. Our emotions took over quite unexpectedly.
